Guanajuato and León, Mexico
I’m sitting at the airport in León, waiting for my flight to Monterrey, which is two hours delayed. I’ve had a wonderful week in León and Guanajuato. I arrived here last Sunday and went straight to the Feria de León, a huge annual festival in León that draws hundreds of thousands of visitors every day. It’s a lively mix of markets, food in every imaginable variety, rides, bars, and restaurants for every taste. I went there with my friends Joel and Fabiola, whom I know from my stay here in 2005.
